Drew Sorrell – Chair of the firm’s Privacy and eDiscovery Group
Drew Sorrell began his career as a law clerk to Senior United States District Judge John H. Moore, II in Jacksonville, Florida. After clerking, he practiced in New York City with a large international firm, primarily in the area of litigation. Subsequently, Drew returned to Florida and is now a litigation shareholder with Lowndes, Drosdick, Doster, Kantor and Reed, PA. Drew heads the firm’s IP Team, leads the firms Privacy and eDiscovery practice group and generally focuses his practice on complex commercial and technology related issues.
Matt Brenner is a shareholder whose litigation practice is devoted to real estate, banking and business issues. He often focuses on disputes involving property boundaries, access issues, easements, quieting title, the Uniform Commercial Code, commercial leases, and real estate and business contracts. Matt regularly represents developers, title insurance companies, national and state banks, and owners and managers of shopping centers, malls and office complexes. He has appeared before trial and appellate courts around the state. In addition, Matt is a certified circuit mediator.
A founding member of the Firm’s Privacy and eDiscovery Practice Group, Melody Lynch, a shareholder at the Firm, represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts across Florida in disputes over employment contracts, non-competition agreements, non-disclosure agreements, trade secrets, and other commercial, employment, and intellectual property matters. As part of this representation, Ms. Lynch routinely counsels clients involving complex eDiscovery issues involving preservation, collection, processing, review, proportionality and spoliation.
A shareholder at the firm, Jason Rimes focuses his legal practice on corporate and securities, mergers and acquisitions, healthcare, sports and aviation law, real estate transactions, and finance. Jason represents business clients, including hospitals, physicians, physician groups, proprietary higher education institutions and sports teams. He has handled transactions involving a variety of businesses and assets including hospitals, medical practices, for-profit schools, aircraft and real property, and he regularly assists clients with the drafting and negotiation of operational contracts such as sponsorship agreements, software licenses, employment contracts and consulting and other service agreements.
Ronny Edwards is a senior associate in the Firm’s Litigation practice. Ronny practices throughout the State of Florida, both at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Edwards focuses primarily on complex business, banking, contract, and real property litigation. Ronny regularly represents national and state banks, title insurance companies, developers, commercial landlords, business owners, franchisors, and franchisees.
